What in the world...

...was I thinking, waiting 9 months to record everything that has been going on? That, and it has come to our attention that some people still like to read our blog...
So, what have we been up to?
Here's a quick glimpse, month by month. I'll go into detail with separate posts...

January- enjoying the Arizona weather, and being with Grandma @ the Zoo

oh, and solids for the first time...

February- gardening together, and spending time with cousins...

March, going to the Air Show, visiting Overton for Uncle Josh's farewell,

stopping by the Las Vegas temple, and Uncle Danny's house too.

April - enjoying the pool and the zoo (again)

May- trip to the local train park, Father's and Son's camp out,

and a quick trip back to Utah to fix a few things.

(*so if you know anyone that needs a house in Provo, send 'em our way!)

June-a friend's birthday at Chuck E. Cheese,

and then they had to rest up for all the stuff we were gonna do in July

July - A quick trip to Kanab for Conner's Baby blessing and Independence day

a trip to California, where we visited Melanie K, the temple, the beach,

and Pluto and the gang

August - Lot's of Birthdays (Peach's, Caden's, Emmry's, +4 others in the family)

with some camping in between...

September - we celebrated Emmry's B-day while Aunts Jan, Janene, and Janette were visiting.

and we just enjoy the other daily shenanigans... like wearing sister's hair bow, or smearing food all over our face...

Life is good!

we can go into more detail later...

(and no matter how many times I fix it, the spacing is messed up... so, sorry)

Wowza!

It's been too long since I've posted that it's too difficult to catch up.
We have been busy!
and will continue to be busy for a few more weeks.
Doing what you might ask?!?
We are moving in less than a week. We have yet to sell our house, (or even really put it on the market for that matter), we have yet to find a place to live, but we do have a job...
Peach had been recruited by a quite a few landscaping companies, (who knew Landscaping Management would be so heavily recruited?!?) but we applied and were hired with ValleyCrest Landscaping in Phoenix, AZ. The company is growing super fast in Arizona and there is a lot of potential for promotions. He says he's not nervous, but I think I am enough for the both of us!
We really wanted to move to Arizona to be with family (my mom and bro Ryan and his family), and especially after all the snow and rain the past week, we are ready for warmer weather, but we are also just getting "settled" in here. It's so sad to be leaving all of our family and friends and our first house... I mean, I've already lived in Utah for 10 years!
On the other side, we are excited for something new. And really, since I lived there for 18 years growing up, it's like going home for me. And since it doesn't snow, it's like home for Peach too.
So, that's what we've been up to...
We went to Arizona to visit my brother and Peach had an interview while we were there. We then returned a couple weeks later for Thanksgiving and to do a little house hunting. Not many houses were hunted, so I have been searching online for the perfect home to rent until we are in a position to buy. We've been packing, organizing, working, playing, and just enjoying the end of this chapter and the beginning of the next!
And since, in my book, no post is complete without pictures... here ya go!
Our lame attempt at family photos... the "chunkster"
... the kids asleep during one of our vacations
Emmry playing in her seat & Caden packing himself up...

busy, busy, busy...

7 weeks has gone by super fast! After all, time flies when you're having fun. This pretty much sums it up...

We've been doing projects around the house, had lots of family parties, enjoyed having family come to visit, and even made a trip to New Mexico for a job interview... we've stayed busy, the house stayed messy, but we've had lots of fun, and plan to have more. More trips are coming for more job opportunities and more projects around the house to get it ready to rent/sell.

As much fun as all of that is, sometimes I wish I could just relax and sleep away the day. Too bad Emmry already has that job.

More to come later...

One Week, One Day, One Hour

...since we officially welcomed Emmry Janae into our family!

Stats:
Weight - 7 lbs 5 oz
Length - 18 in
Born @ 8:26 am on August 31, 2010

She was born with lots (for our family) of brown hair and blue eyes...

Her name is our own variation of Emma Jane...

So far she's a super calm baby who smiles and giggles a lot in her sleep. Lets hope that's an indicator of her personality...

We love having her in our family... [and Caden's only told me once that he wants her to go away...it's been kind of hard for him because he has a cold and we are trying to keep it away from Emmry, but he really is a great big brother.]

it's only been three months...

Since my last post... oops...
I guess we just got busy. Since my last post... this is what has happened.

June -

Bowling as a reward for Caden - Potty Trained!!!

Camping with the Tuckett Cousins in Spanish Fork River Park (and Uncle Josh came up for school, just in time to camp with us)

July

A visit from Grammy, Aunt Sarah, Uncle William, and Cousin Isaac- and lots of swimming, sprinklers and fun.

Our annual trip to the Spanish Fork Rodeo with the Hiltons

August

Peach did the flowers for cousin Heidi's Wedding...

So we had Pappy, Grammy, Sarah, and William here again for the weekend, and we decided last minute to celebrate Caden's and Peach's Birthdays
(The cake was made with what I had on hand that Sunday morning and all the pics I got of him opening presents were really bad)

And we continued to celebrate the whole week.

Grandma June Tuckett passed away on August 9th... My Dad's birthday.
(This is the only picture I got from the funeral.)

We took a hike to the Payson Grotto with Grandma Diane

and here are some random pictures from the past few months...

Playing in the backyard...

A "cake" I made for a ward activity - Me at 34ish weeks

Blankets I made so far... one for Caden, and one for the baby

Our weekly harvest from the garden - Drapes and cornice I made for Caden and baby's room.

So there...
I might try to post again before baby comes, but if not, keep an eye out because she's making her debut on the 31st! Only 8 more days!
