Looky-here... I've finally gotten around to posting about our vacation. I'm only a month and a half behind....
Thanksgiving 2008
We spent five days in Disneyland. My Mom, Caden and I drove down to be there on Monday with Jason and Kiana, and Jared and his family. Peach flew in on Wednesday once school was through...
The only time Caden didn't cry around the Characters was when he was asleep.
Classic Toon-Car show... give Caden a steering wheel and he is content.

We even got to see the Turkey that Pres. Bush pardoned on Thanksgiving... (not the one in the hat... the one in the cage...)
We spent the afternoon on Thanksgiving at Joe and Shannon's house... Normally it would only take an hour to get there, but with California traffic we spent about 3 hours on the road. Unfortunately I only have pictures from my phone on Thanksgiving and they are not great quality... so I'll spare you.
But now is the time you've been waiting for.
Friday morning we get to the park and call my brother, Jared, so we can meet up with them. He said he was waiting for Terumi and the girls to get off Star Tours so we start our trek to Tomorrowland. Just as we are getting there, my niece, Kiana, runs up to us yelling "we won something"... and there was a member of the Disney cast wearing a white vest leading them to main street....
Long story less long, My sister-in-law happened to be in the right seat on Star Tours and was the day's winner for the Year of a Million Dreams Contest. She won a night stay at the Disney Dream Suite, which is located above Pirates of the Caribbean. The timing couldn't have been better.
So while Peach, Caden, and I couldn't stay the night we were still able to celebrate in all of the festivities of the day... and here they are...
Waiting to get in.... This is the front room of the Suite... our Concierge is showing us a glass bowl full of goodies that had TUCKETT inscribed in it for the guests.
Caden showing off his itsy-bitsy spider...
Family picture in the front room - then on to the kids bedroom.
The Kids Bath ... The "D" is everywhere in the house. It was kind of a game to see how many there really were. But when your in Disneyland, who wants to stick around and count "D's".
The parents bedroom ... An outside patio, complete with fountain, lounge chairs, and "fireflies" at night (you gotta love Disney Magic)...
The back deck looking out onto the lake... It made for a great view of Fantasmic.
This is part of the Master bath - For ambiance you can turn down the lights and show the stars. Every once in a while the mickey ears will appear...
This is the fireplace in the front room... within the fire shoot little fire works.
The Suite was amazing... and they had us going everywhere that day. There was so much going on, that it looks like this will take two posts...
TO BE CONTINUED...
